Behind every smooth IT experience is a team that listens, understands, and acts with purpose. At Accurate Network Services, we know that’s what turns technology from a source of stress into a tool for success.
As Accurate’s new Director of Client Services, I see my role as helping clients experience that difference every day. True client success begins with understanding what matters most to your business before offering a single recommendation.
That has been my focus over these first few weeks: engaging with our clients, our people and our community to see what makes our partnerships strong and where we can take them even further. The more I learn, the more excited I am about the work ahead.
Curiosity: Why Questions Come Before Solutions
My career began with Xerox’s legendary sales training, which shaped how I think about people, process and problem-solving. Xerox transformed how companies approached sales. It wasn’t about pushing products; it was about understanding people. The training focused on asking thoughtful questions, listening carefully and identifying what clients truly needed before recommending a solution.
That approach left a lasting impression. It taught me that success doesn’t come from selling the most; it comes from genuine curiosity about what will make the client successful.
As our CEO, Bente Roycroft, wrote in her recent article, “The Curiosity Advantage in IT Support”:
“Curiosity is what helps us see beyond the immediate problem and discover the root causes that matter most.”
From my roots in sales, I moved into consulting, founded a corporate mindfulness company and later managed business development at Shing Digital. Each step deepened my belief that curiosity and presence ensure we’re not just solving today’s issues but also looking ahead.
Discovering a Culture of Collaboration
Walking into Accurate, I was immediately struck by its culture and the depth of experience behind it. After 17 years of steady growth, much of it through referrals, it’s clear how much confidence clients place in our team.
Accurate follows the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS), a framework that helps keep our meetings purposeful, accountability clear and progress visible.
After just one internal meeting, I was already energized. Challenges were discussed, next steps defined and everyone left with a shared understanding of what needed to happen next. For anyone who has worked in large organizations, you’ll know how rare and refreshing that is.
Why People Come First (In Work and Life)
Outside of work, Calgary is where my heart is. I love how this big city still feels like a small town when it comes to community and connection. My husband and I spend weekends hiking or camping in the Rockies, often in our adventure vehicle with a tent on top. Nature is our reset button. With adult children and a close family life, balance is always a priority.
I carry this perspective of valuing people, presence and community into my work. Technology matters, but when you put people first, communication improves, relationships strengthen and everything else follows naturally.
Turning Alignment into Client Success
When every part of a business works together, clients feel the difference. Projects move faster, communication is clearer and results are easier to measure. That kind of alignment drives real client success, even though it can be difficult to achieve.
At Accurate, collaboration is part of who we are. My goal is to help clients succeed by turning the promises made in sales into seamless experiences and measurable results that make IT a true advantage for their organizations.
Empowering Success, Together
When your technology strategy aligns with your business goals, everything runs more smoothly. Decisions become clearer, teams work with more confidence and growth feels easier to sustain.
That’s what great client service is really about: connection, clarity and confidence.
My goal is to help every client get there. By asking the right questions and paying close attention to what matters most, we uncover opportunities that make technology feel like an advantage, not an obstacle.
The same spirit of curiosity that drew me to Accurate drives our entire team. We’re focused on helping you achieve more by keeping your systems strong, your people supported and your business moving forward.
