Cybersecurity for Your Parents - Calgary

Back by popular demand!

‍

The world has changed A LOT in the last 20 years—cyberattacks and scams have gotten a lot more sophisticated than emails from princes seeking urgent financial assistance. It can be hard for even the most tech-savvy person to discern what’s real and what’s not—so imagine where that leaves the older generation.

‍

That’s why Accurate Networks is once again offering our clients’ parents (and grandparents, aunts, neighbours, etc.) the opportunity to learn more about protecting themselves online with these free, in-person seminars.

‍

In these in-person sessions, you’ll learn:

• Real-world stories illustrating the gravity of cyber-threats
• How to spot the trademarks of online/phone scams
• How to check the legitimacy of various requests
• Best practices for protecting your personal information online

You’ll also receive a one-pager summarizing the information you learn to keep handy at home in a pinch.

‍

Coffee, tea, and treats provided, of course.

‍

Space is limited to 12 people per session, so don't wait. Reserve your spot today!
